Stacking the Shelves #105

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Click on the link under the book to find its page on Goodreads or Smashwords.

Please note that I always leave a message on your STS/SP if you visit me, but if you use DISQUS or a similar third party I will not be able to leave a comment on your page. And sometimes, I have problems leaving messages on blogs hosted by Wordpress so you might get a double message sometimes! Blame them, not me!

Another week has gone by in a blur of spooky booky fun and reruns of Masterchef The Professionals. No films to report on yet as the books have taken priority while I'm in a good reading zone. Amongst the free zombie books I recently grabbed was a book that I really enjoyed called Voodoo Plague, so I've ordered the paperback and book two in the series which I'm looking forward to tackling! I also grabbed three more books in the never ending Amazon sale including a short novel of Jurassic World which I devoured and enjoyed last night! The rest have not been read yet. I'm very excited by the contents of this week's haul-zombies and raptors and vampires oh my! *snigger*

  1. Awesome haul, Chuckles! Those colouring books look gorgeous, and it is so nice to actually sit down and let your mind drift and just dream about distant landscapes and make them come alive with colours :)
I own Ink and Bone, too, but I haven't gotten to it yet. And there's a lot of zombies here - you must be in zombie-heaven!
Have a fantastic weekend and happy reading.

    1. Same here! I've only seen the first two films and I watched the second one so long ago I can barely remember what happened in it! I read Resident Evil Genesis which is based on the first film and it's a really great book!

  7. I read the first three Resident Evil books and they were okay. It was a little rough because they would play much better as movies (yes I know about the RE movies but still!). I tried Ink and Bone but I couldn't get into the story. Happy reading!

    1. I'm not too sure about Ink and Bone to be honest...I've been in two minds about reading it and figured I might as well try it. Not sure when I'll get round to it though.
