This seems like a fun feature and I have been planning to take part since Carole launched this so at last, here we go! I have a TON of unread books to choose from in various genres and I'm looking forward to sharing some of them with everybody.
When it comes to demons, always read the fine print.
Jesse James Dawson was an ordinary guy (well, an ordinary guy with a black belt in karate) until one day he learned his brother had made a bargain with a demon. Jesse discovered there was only one way to save his brother: put up his own soul as collateral, and fight the demon to the death.
Jesse lived to free his brother-and became part of a loose organization of Champions who put their own souls on the line to help those who get in over their heads with demons. I read and enjoyed the first book in the series and need to get the rest of the series read, hopefully in 2019! I enjoyed seeing an urban fantasy book where the hero is happily married with a child!
This one is completely new to me but it sounds great. I do love a good story about demons and Jesse sounds really loyal since he is willing to risk so much to save his brother. I Hope you end up loving this one!

DeleteI think having had a good prior experience with the author and the characters is reason enough for me to bump a book that slipped between the cracks up on my TBR.
