Watch out for AVP2. I enjoyed the first one but found the second one bordering on the edge of revolting.

DeleteI HATED AVP2! I watched it this month and hated all the relationship angst thrown in and that so much took place in the dark where I could barely make out what was happening. I thought it was a dreadful film!
DeleteSo many favorites on this list! You are making me want to rewatch the Alien movies right now. I hope you enjoy the new Star Wars movies. I loved them.
ReplyDeleteMy dad liked the new Star Wars films but after watching episodes 2 and 3, I admit my interest in the series took a big nosedive!
DeleteI have all of the Alien and Predator movies and plan to watch them again. Annihilation was pretty good. And my son wants to rewatch The Lord Of The Rings series. We loved Ready Player One which surprised both of us!
ReplyDeleteI so much want to like Annihilation-the book and the film but I worry about so many reviews calling it 'weird'! I don't do well with weird! I'm looking forward to Ready Player One!

DeleteAliens is badass, and so is Total Recall. Star Trek 2 The Wrath of Khan is actually a pretty good movie too.
ReplyDeleteI love that director's cut of Aliens! I don't know how many times I've watched it now! I always cry about Spock when I watch The Wrath of Khan!
DeleteI loved Ready Player One movie. Annihilation movie was bad, as it didn;t follow the book. Star Wars Rogue One was amazing but Last Jedi was bad.
ReplyDeleteI really do need to get these new films watched! I've been terrible at getting stuff watched this year! I'm not exactly keen to watch the new Star Wars one based on that prequel trilogy...I only liked The Phantom Menace other than that stupid Jar Jar!

Yeah episodes 2 and 3 kind of put me off watching the new ones but my dad likes them so I better make the effort!
DeleteI'm planning to have my annual rewatch of Alien sometime soon, but I don't fancy watching any of the others because I much prefer the first one. And I haven't seen Total Recall because the opening scene terrified the pants off of me when I was little 😂
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is Aliens but I enjoy the first three! I'd love to see a few Alien films set on Earth with Ripley fully human and fighting them again!
