Welcome to my feature Chuckles Weekend Roundup where I will be looking at what books I've received, anything interesting I've done or bought or watched and other random stuff. I'll be taking a look back at what happened in my blogging world too, sort of like The Sunday Post that some of you do!
Please note that I'll be visiting your STS/SP as normal, but I don't follow or leave comments on blogs run by Google Plus, or DISQUS as I refuse to join something just to leave comments, and I won't allow DISQUS to follow new people, update my profile or post tweets 'on my behalf'. I am the only one who does that on my social media! I won't comment on any blog that makes me sign in using another account. Sometimes, I have problems leaving messages on blogs hosted by Wordpress-they try to block me because I deleted my account with them but I will persevere as it only happens the odd time!

Hi guys, it's the end of another week where I just didn't get enough done either around the house or on the blog. I just feel like I'm continually playing catchup every day and not getting time to have actual fun for the sake of fun. I never get time for Pinterest or bookcrossing these days which I loved. I'm not getting time to write reviews and I feel my blog catchup of comments and visits is too rushed. I'm not sure what the solution is but I plan to have a long hard think this weekend about the blog, the reading, the social time I get and how best to reorganise life in general! Deep huh! Maybe I'll get lucky and hit on some kind of magic solution while I consider things.
Just a short catch up this week as I hardly slept last night again and I'm off to fall asleep on the comfy sofa while watching Aliens!

I need to take a bit of time and find a solution to this never ending chaos I'm in at the moment! I think I might need to think about posting less but what to cut out is the issue!

DeleteI've been having issues fitting everything into a day, too. Endless to do lists, and that's before I even get to reading and blogging. I want to have time for everything, but I might have to admit that I don't and find some stuff to jettison!

ReplyDeleteIt's kind of like pondering the meaning of life and not getting very far! I'm still trying to think of a plan! I might need to use the weekend for catch up and blog visits and allow myself more time for reading and getting book reviews written during the week!

DeleteI'm always trying to find better ways to manage everything that goes into blogging. It's tough to fit in half of what I want to accomplish. I hope you are able to get a little insight this weekend into what you need.
ReplyDeleteI came up blank sadly! Cutting a few blogs I follow isn't going to do more than save a few minutes so that isn't the answer. I think I need to get posts written during the week and do the odd blog visit and comment if time allows, then do my comment and visit main catchup during the weekend. Not quite decided yet!
DeleteThe Serial Killer's Daughter looks like it could be a wonderful thriller -- though I am not a fan of the title.
ReplyDeleteThe title sounds a bit YA for me and lacks the danger sound that a thriller like this should have. I'd have called it Daddy Darkness or something!
DeleteThe Serial Killers Daughter sounds like I would love it. I read the Jasper Dent series and his father was a serial killer trying to train him to be. Which I thought was freaky as heck. I have missed your blog. I am trying to catch up with everyone.
