Reading With Chuckles

I have renamed my TBR Reading Challenge and changed it back to Reading with Chuckles as it sounds better, especially at times when I have no specific challenge running. So this is where I'll share what I read and abandoned each week, and I'll give the odd update on the state of my poor TBR! It does suffer at times...! The link under the book takes you to the Goodreads page for that book so you can decide whether to read it, and see my reviews when they are posted.

Well I admit it, I've grabbed so many free and cheap books over the last 3 months that my tbr is fully out of control so for the moment I'm going to forget about it and go with the flow...a lot of these books are short so I'll catch up on them at some point and get the numbers down again. I refuse to care right now! Fun reading is more important than stupid numbers!!!

OK so I'm a bit concerned about the rising numbers on the tbr, I admit it! I'm just not getting through enough books each week compared to what I upload. So this week, the plan was to read a pile of shorter stories to get the numbers down a bit and reduce the amount I upload to each STS. Of course I'm kidding myself, as I have a ton of other books which are not uploaded yet so are not currently counted on the tbr, and I'm pretending they don't exist for now! Just call me Chuckles the Ostrich with her head in the sand!

This week was productive for reading though, with 20 books coming off the tbr-read, abandoned or just deleted, so it's something I guess!
