I did find myself disappointed in quite a few reads that I was looking forward to. I'm not including ones with annoying niggles that caused me to mark them down. These are books I hoped to like but marked as one or two star, or books I expected to like because I liked a previous book in the series or previous series by the author.

It sucks when a book disappoints but when it's from an author you like? Double suck.

DeleteThe Cabin at the End of the World - I totally feel you on that one. In fact, it has me scared to pick up anything else by that author. Too bad about EAT, it has such a great cover.
ReplyDeleteI can't say I'm greatly keen to read anything else by that author as Cabin was really bad! Eat was pretty terrible!
DeleteI thought Annihilation was weird. I did enjoy The Hatching though. Sorry these didn't work out for you.
