There were a lot of great reviews floating around the web this week, as well as all the GDPR stuff which drove me nuts.

Thanks for the mention! That Ruth Ware mystery broke my heart just a little. I've had Soulless on my TBR for awhile so I'm off to go check out the review as well as the YA Endings post.

WELCOME!

I'm Chuckles, self named because I'm a grumpy muppet. Also I'm the wrong side of 40 and Scottish. Just so you know!

Fave fiction genres are horror, prepper apocalypse, Harry Potter, ASOI&F, zombies, tudors, urban fantasy, dinosaurs, creature feature, sharks, some fantasy, SF and adventure. Fave non fiction includes mountain expeditions, cryptids, urban legends, history and politics. I LOVE action packed books with good characters and interesting human & animal sidekicks.

Don't read romance, PNR, erotica, westerns, religious works, YA books with angst and tropes, steampunk, classics, women's fiction or contemporary, other historical fiction. I hate slow plots, DESPISE love triangles & instaluv, detest love-hate relationship angst, and MCs that are violent rapists, drugged up idiots, whiny females and obnoxious cretins!

Fave TV: Game of Thrones, American Ninja Warrior, Sasuke, Buffy, Deadliest Catch, Bering Sea Gold, Great British Menu, Bake Off, Elementary, Hannibal, Ax Men, Prisoner, West Wing, Gold Rush, SG Atlantis, Scandal, Masterchef, Corrie, Supernatural, Yukon Gold, Wicked Tuna, Lost, Alias, Broken Skull Challenge, and there are a ton of things I haven't got to watching yet!

Fave books/authors include Hunter Shea, Rick Chesler, Patricia Briggs, Matthew Reilly, ASOI&F, Harry Potter, Philippa Gregory, Emily Purdy, Alison Weir, Jack Kilborn, Richard Laymon, Murderbot, IT, Viktor Zarkov, Hunger Games, Monster Haven, Iron Druid, WOTO, Sookie, Morganville Vampires, Deacon Chalk, The Valley, Jurassic Park, early Stephen King and more! You can find me on Goodreads, Pinterest, Twitter or you can leave a comment here or follow me on bloglovin or something. Don't be shy, say hi!

Fave music-rock, glam rock, 60's to 80's, country, motown, 90's indie, some metal.

Fave films-Halloween, Jurassic Park/World, Jaws, Harry Potter, Alien 1-3, Godfather, Resident Evil, Deep Blue Sea, Barnyard, Mamma Mia, Saw, Jeepers Creepers, Final Destination, LOTR, The Mummy (BR & RW), The Fog, AVP, Predator, Armageddon, Independence Day, slasher horror, action & adventure, SF & Fantasy, gory & zombies!
