If there is one thing that makes a great book even better, it is when it has a cover that we love! The cover design is what catches the eye as we browse through a bookstore shelf or check out the Amazon or Goodreads recommendations. The right cover makes me look closer at a book, to read the blurb and maybe make a purchase. A poor cover might mean I never look at the blurb at all.
This Week! Amanda Hocking!
I love these snow fantasy covers though I wouldn't actually be reading the books.

Oh, I have a copy of Frostfire here and it is beautiful! Not picking the others up though until I see how well I enjoy it ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful aren't they? Not my kind of read but I can happily admire the covers!
DeleteOh I like those covers!!
ReplyDeleteI like the way the colours are used. Very eyecatching!
DeleteThere's just something about snow, isn't there! Especially in the horror we love so well. LOL
ReplyDeleteSnow and horror go well together...even when he knows nothing! *sniggers*
DeleteWow, those are gorgeous. I read my first book by her this year, but I don't think I've heard of this series before. With covers like that, I'm sure I would have noticed :)

I like these covers a lot. The author seems to like having eyecatching covers which is always a good thing.
DeleteMy favorite is the first one although I'm drawn to the purple on Ice Kingdom. I love the little rabbit accent in the titles too!
ReplyDeleteI love the second one as I love the colour and the use of castles!
DeleteThese covers are pretty but I don't think I will be reading these books either.
ReplyDeleteYeah too much of the YA with this author I think! It's a pity I can't justify buying them for the covers...
