Film Review: Shark Shock (AKA Trailer Park Shark)

My first Deep Blue Terror weekend was a huge success with 7 films watched and 3 books! The next weekend I looked at five films. Last weekend I watched another five and plan a few for this month. Here I share with you my thoughts on another one I looked at.

Starring: Thomas Ian Nicholas, Lulu Jovovich, Tara Reid
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6982720/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1

A shady landowner decides to flood out the residents of a trailer park to get them off his land. After blowing up the levee, a large shark comes looking for lunch.

Oh jeez this one was really bad. It's right up there on the crap list with Jurassic Shark and Sand Sharks. Firstly there are the characters who are the worst redneck steriotypes you could ever imagine! In the opening park scenes, woman are fighting over a fat redneck, people are shooting guns at each other and setting things on fire and all kinds of stupid stuff. They are all obnoxious cretins frankly.

Secondly, the MC tries to fry the shark in his first encounter with it. After that the shark seems to be electrified when it suits it, which is weird. The bad guys are like the good old boys in the Dukes of Hazzard, the plot is bad, the acting is poor and the special effects are bad! Not a film you want to watch unless you are really drunk!

  1. We were browsing movies on Amazon the other night to steam and I saw this. They couldn't even put any money into the cover shot to even try to make it look appealing.

  2. You say it's bad but now I must see it, lol. These movies are perfect to knit by because I don't have to pay too close attention!

    1. Oh dear, you're brave Bark! I think if you knitted a shark it would be scarier than the one in this film!
