Stacking the Shelves #65

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Click on the link under the book to find its page on Goodreads or Smashwords.

Please note that I always leave a message on your STS/SP if you visit me, but if you use DISQUS or a similar third party I will not be able to leave a comment on your page. And sometimes, I have problems leaving messages on blogs hosted by Wordpress.

So here we are in a New Year at last and I've got my first haul of the year. More effort needs to be made to get through my tbrs and I've already finished my first book of the year. Yay! Well, it's a start I guess. I need more time to catch up on all these great TV series that I want to watch as well so getting both done could be a bit tricky!

This week is a small haul, just a few books that I picked up in the last few days to start off my year. I need to show some restraint in January so my tbr seems to be going down, not up!

  1. Nice haul. The Zombie book looks interesting. I hadn't heard of that one before. Thanks for visiting me earlier.

    1. I've looked at this one for a while but seeing it at a bargain price in paperback was too tempting to resist!

  2. Zombies of Lake Woebegotten looks interesting, but I know what you mean about keeping the TBR pile in check.

Here's how I Stacked the Shelves this week.

    1. I can never resist trying a zombie book! I am limiting what I buy at the moment until my tbr is under control but the odd bargain is ok...*grins*

    1. I got it for about £5 on Amazon UK which is a bargain because it is a huge heavy book! I ordered the Masterchef Kitchen Bible which is even better. It'll be on my STS next week as it arrived Sunday night. I used an Amazon Gift Voucher to get it for £5 as well. Bargains!

  4. You and me both, re: needing restraint. I'm even looking at whole year book ban challenges and such... I don't know if I can manage that, though!

    1. A full year book ban??? *shudder* The very thought chills my blood! I really hope it doesn't come to that for you!
