Book Review: Living Alone by Joseph A. Turkot

*I received a free copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review*
Jill decides to sell her old phone through an online site. When Jill discovers that people using this site are
being targeted by a serial killer, she fears the buyer she has been in contact with may be the killer. Suddenly she is seeing vans in the parking lot in the early hours of the morning and getting calls at anti-social hours. Is she paranoid or has she been selected as the next victim?

This was another good creepy horror story. Imagine how you would feel if you were selling an item on a site and then saw on the news that a killer was picking victims from there? You would believe that you could be next because that is the way the human brain works-at least, it would in my case! As bizarre incidents happen, Jill becomes scared and paranoid, little things are blown out of proportion and every man near her home is a potential attacker. It doesn't help to have a boyfriend like Eric who makes inappropriate jokes about it! This was a good creepy read and you can perfectly relate to the way the characters behave and the mistakes that they made.

There were a couple of errors in the book ie the famous Jimmy Stewart film being called 'It's a beautiful life' and Eric being called Chris a couple of times but they didn't detract from the story and I just ignored it and read on.

Here's the morals to the story:

-never give your home address to people on selling sites
-always keep your phone charged
-never rely just on mobile devices for communication

And don't live alone!!!
