Chuckles Cover Love #71 Richard Castle

If there is one thing that makes a great book even better, it is when it has a cover that we love! The cover design is what catches the eye as we browse through a bookstore shelf or check out the Amazon or Goodreads recommendations. The right cover makes me look closer at a book, to read the blurb and maybe make a purchase. A poor cover might mean I never look at the blurb at all.

NB: I don't follow or leave comments on blogs run by Google Plus, or DISQUS as I refuse to join something just to leave comments, and I won't allow them to follow new people, update my profile or post tweets 'on my behalf'. This Week-Richard Castle!

Not my genre but interesting covers!

  1. I like the different buildings on the covers. Looks like he's found a brand for his series that would be easy to spot.

    1. Yeah they would look great displayed together in a bookshop...I'll be interested to see what else he does if the series continues.

  2. I loved watching Castle, and absolutely adore Nathan Fillion, but never picked these up. Maybe now that I'm more into thrillers, they'll work with my taste. I agree though, those covers are amazing.

    1. I've never seen Castle though I loved Nathan in Buffy. I didn't know there was a connection to the series until you mentioned it! Interesting concept...

    1. I like the idea of some of the mystery thrillers out there but I don't have time to add yet another genre to my list! I like looking at these though.

  4. I love that each cover immediately identifies with a different city. I hadn't seen this author before and thriller series aren't always my thing, but if Castle can create a good sense of place I'd be tempted to give one a try.

    1. I really like the cities on the covers too. These are certainly short novellas but I just don't have time to branch out into anything but my favourite genres right now.

  5. I've never read any of these books, but they are cool covers. I like the one with the sphinx on it the best. ;D
