Chuckles Cover Love #51

If there is one thing that makes a great book even better, it is when it has a cover that we love! The cover design is what catches the eye as we browse through a bookstore shelf or check out the Amazon or Goodreads recommendations. The right cover makes me look closer at a book, to read the blurb and maybe make a purchase. A poor cover might mean I never look at the blurb at all.

NB: I don't follow or leave comments on blogs run by Google Plus, or DISQUS as I refuse to join something just to leave comments, and I won't allow them to follow new people, update my profile or post tweets 'on my behalf'. I won't comment on any blog that makes me sign in using another account.

This week...TD Shields!

I saw these covers on a book blog a few weeks ago and thought they were quite striking!

And here are the alternative covers available.

  1. I'm actually liking the face tattoo which is kind of out of the ordinary for me. Plus, don't tell the boys, but I'm kind of curious about that cat that she is carrying around everywhere. Very nice covers indeed!

    1. I like the first two covers...nice to see a different looking woman instead of the usual. Oh dear, cat interest ends up with naughty step time!

  2. I like the contrast with the ginger hair and tattoos. The first covers speak to me much more than the second ones. But that could change if I read the books. Never know until then which covers fit best.

    1. I like the first covers as well-nice design. I like the scenic views as well as the colours!

  3. I haven't seen these books before. I like the top covers more than the ones on the bottom. I am wondering about the cat that I see peeking out of the backpack.

    1. I hadn't heard of them either but that's not surprising when it's not really my genre! Looks like the cat enjoys his/her transport!

  4. Nice covers! I like both versions of Into Light, especially the alternate one!

    1. I'm wondering why there is no cat in the alternate cover for Into Shadow...
