Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about
sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical
or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store
or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books,
gifts and of course ebooks! Click on the link under the book to find its page on Goodreads or Smashwords.
Please note that I always leave a
message on your STS/SP if you visit me, but if you use
DISQUS or a similar third party I will not be able to leave a comment on your page. And
sometimes,
I have problems leaving messages on blogs hosted by
Wordpress so you might get a double message sometimes! Blame them, not me!
What a darn week. I'm been in full grumpy mode, been busy around the house, been back and forwards to doctors for me and my dad-nothing serious, just annoying and time consuming. I've barely got anything useful done online so I'm still catching up on messages from last week, so I'm sorry about that! Today when I finish this post I plan to spend the day blogging in advance to get some posts ready for next week just in case I'm busy again! I think I need to start doing this to get some order into the chaos of my days!
Not much blogging done then but I have managed to get a bit of reading done. I'm now sad that I've finished RL Naquin's Monster Haven books. I loved that series and I will miss Maurice the Closet Monster so much! *sniffs* It was a great series though and I recommend it highly if you like some humour with your paranormal romance and fantasy! My haul this week includes bargain downloads, and more of those paperbacks from the Amazon sale that I grabbed weeks ago! Yes I'm STILL uploading the things! It shows how many bargains I got that it's taken me nearly two months to upload the majority of them! Nearly done with that though. Plus I grabbed a few Kelley Armstrong books I didn't have which was nice!

Ooh, Kelley Armstrong. I want to pick up more of her books -- I grabbed Omens last week, actually. Hope you enjoy all these!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for her new hardback novella to come out next year...it has the wolf pack and Malcolm! I'm so excited! I ordered a gorgeous second hand hardback book of Hidden which arrived after I did my STS post-perfect condition and cost £3 from Better World Books! That will be on next week's stack! I've already got the story in one of the anthologies but this cover is soooo gorgeous I couldn't resist! I read Led Astray last night and there are some really good Otherworld and stand alone stories in it!
DeleteEvery Day was so different from what I expected it to be, but nevertheless really intriguing read :) An Abundance of Katherine has been on my TBR for over two years probably now, but I still haven't managed to get a copy of it haha. I hope you're going to all of these new books! Have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI was pleasantly surprised by the John Green book...it had some quite funny moments in it and was overall a decent read. I'm on Will Grayson Will Grayson now and I'm struggling a bit with the characters. Thanks for stopping by to say hello! I'll visit you shortly!
DeleteGreat haul! Girls Like Us is so good, very powerful. I like the sound of When Mr Dog Bites, what a great title for a book. Hope you enjoy reading all your new books. :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my weekly wrap up & stacking the shelves post:
https://rathertoofondofbooks.wordpress.com/2015/11/07/weekly-wrap-up-stacking-the-shelves-7-november/
I liked the title too-that's what grabbed my attention and the book sounded good. The fact that is was on sale also helped!
DeleteI hope next week will be much better, Chuckles!!
ReplyDelete"Dead, But Not For Long" looks interesting, and I hope you'll enjoy both that and your other new books.
Have a fantastic weekend and happy reading.

On Thursday my dad is back at the doctor so hopefully his ear will be fixed then. My toe is finally showing improvement after I popped a blood blister on it last night! *shudder* Just call me Nurse Chuckles! Thanks for visiting as always Lexxie!
DeleteAww I hope you don't have to go to the doctor anymore next week! <3
ReplyDeleteI really want to read An Abundance of Katherines - it looks really good!
Enjoy your books!

My Book Haul!
Hopefully with the toe looking better better today, I might escape the fate! Our doctor is good but I hate sitting around that waiting room especially when they run late! An abundance of Katherines was a decent read-a bit slow for me in places but I liked the characters. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteSadly I can't leave a message on your blog because you have DISQUS but I really hope your dad is better. It must be a really worrying time for you right now. *hugs*
DeleteYay for the Harry Potter coloring book. You got some interesting books this week.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love
Zombies and Harry Potter...the perfect week! There are some good colouring pages in the Harry Potter book that I'm looking forward to!
DeleteEvery Day and Another Day look so good, I have Every Day on my shelves, but haven't picked it up for some odd reason. Those covers above are so different from the original, I love them :)
ReplyDeleteGreat haul and hope you have an amazing weekend!
Novel Ink's STS
Yeah the covers were pretty eyecatching and part of Amazon's 3 paperbacks for £10 offer so I kind of HAD to grab them! Well that's my excuse anyway!
DeleteYou sure did get a lot of bargains! Great haul! I've had my eye on Dollhouse for a while. I hope you enjoy them all and I hope this week is better!
ReplyDeleteMichelle @ Michelle's Minions
I like to have a good moan even when I know that I'm lucky compared to some of the things other bloggers are dealing with, then I feel guilty! A good moan does everyone good though!
DeleteOoh some books I recognise! Ha! I hope you enjoy these books. :-)
ReplyDeleteI feel like that when I visit everyone else's sites...I'm dead happy if I see something I've heard of, never mind read! *giggles*
DeleteI love Kelley Armstrong. The Harry Potter coloring book looks great but I think I want The Game of Thrones one first. Great haul and hope everyone in your home is feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThe stand alone stories in Led Astray for the most part were very good and I liked the short stories from WOTO about Zoe in both anthologies. I'd rather have had a few books about her and Cassandra than whining Savannah!
DeleteI liked Led Astray but the others are new to me. I hope you'll enjoy them all. happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThere were some really good stories in Led Astray from the Otherworld universe and the stand alone stories had some great twists. I enjoyed it more than I expected.
DeleteI quite fancy the Harry Potter colouring book, is it any good? I see there is a Doctor Who one too.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you have been under the weather, hope this week is better and you enjoy your Amazon bargains!!
It looks like it's intended for all the family with a few easier to colour things like the house badges but there are still a few tricky looking things for adults too! I'm pretty happy with it and it should be fun to colour! I'll probably get the Doctor Who one at some point too though I can't see me doing the TARDIS anything but blue!
DeleteI always dislike doctor visits, they are time consuming and stressing. You got some good books this week, lots of Kelley Armstrogn books. I still have to read Otherworld Secrets and The Masked Truth, but Led Astray and The Gathering I've read and really enjoyed them. That Harry Potter colouring books looks great! I hope you'll have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLed Astray I read this week and it was really good. I love the twists she had in some of the stories and of course it was fun to see Nick on an adventure with Reese and Noah!
DeleteI hear good things about An Abundance of Katherines!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books :)
Sugar & Snark - Latest haul
I thought it was a decent read-there were a few funny bits in it.
DeleteAwesome haul. Contagious looks damn good.
ReplyDeleteI do like books with the plague/contagion/zombies themes!
