Stacking the Shelves #35

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

This was a week of reading and catching up with a few things on TV that have been lying around on VHS tapes for YEARS! I finally got round to watching series one of Ax Men which I have enjoyed. I do like the reality shows about tought jobs! Reading wise, I've got a few read on the Kobo and a couple of paperbacks recently so I'm happy with that.

This week I have been busy writing book reviews on Goodreads so I haven't really had time to browse for freebies online. I picked up Zac Zombie 3 as I already have 1 and 2 waiting to be read. My two paperback purchases are books two and three in the Raven series by Suzy Turner. I LOVED book one and decided to treat myself to these two.

  2. Haven't heard of either of these, but that first one has a terrifically freaky cover. ;) I've been busy remembering how to write reviews! Haha! I haven't written one in forever and I feel kind of rusty. ;) My StS!

    1. I've got reviews to write for books I read in 2010-I'm not sure I'm going to remember much unless it was very good or very bad!

    1. I got Raven free and really enjoyed it! I had ecopies of these two but decided to repay the author by giving her some paperback book sales! Her other series The Morgan Sisters bk 1 was a good read as well-The ghost of Josiah Grimshaw.

    1. It is pretty isn't it? The cover for bk 1 Raven has a model that looks like a young Angelina Jolie on it.

    1. They look so good, I want to get started on them now! But I have given myself two weeks to get more free stuff on the Kobo read first before I move on to the paperbacks again!

    1. I'm gradually starting to buy the paperbacks of the free books I liked that authors sent me to review. Giving them a few sales pays them back for their kindness!

    1. Yay! I was hoping a few people might get interested in the series! I've ordered her other series and hope to feature it on next week's STS if it arrives in time. Never quite sure when these Amazon deliveries will arrive!

    1. There are just too many great sounding things on TV now. I have not started Game of Thrones, The Following, The Blacklist, Arrow, Revolution, Sanctuary, Haven, Warehouse 13, Vampire Diaries, etc but I'm saving the episodes so you can imagine how long THAT is going to take to catch up!
