    1. We have a few good cheap stores within a ten minute drive of our house-they would be my first stops for a zombie apocalypse for sure!

  2. Oh the preppers are out over the internet screaming, "see, told ya to prepare" It's fun to see what people are saying right now abut it though. Most of our shopping is done online or at the Mexican market close to us and the market hasn't run out of anything yet. I guess most people are going to more big box stores and traditional supermarkets so we were able to get everything we wanted this week.

    1. People do make a bee line for the supermarkets in this kind of crisis and don't always think of the other options. I know the location of every discount store in our town, just for possible future use!

  3. Thanks for sharing these. People are starting to panic here even though we have no cases reported yet. Every place s out of sanitizer!

    1. We have two cases in the Glasgow area which depending on what part of Glasgow could be between ten and twenty miles from us, but at the moment Scotland has only 18 cases. I'm just keeping a careful eye on the news at the moment but I'm not freaking out about it!

  4. I'm probably going to regret this but I'm going to read the toilet paper one and forward it to my panic buying friends, lol.

    1. It was an intriguing article! I have a few old dishtowels that I might cut up ready to use in a toilet emergency! I might actually keep that in the car...!

  5. I hope that I never need to use some of these ideas but it is still good knowledge to have.

    1. There is so much misinformation out there and mixed messages from the 'experts' on TV and in the media that I've decided to find out stuff for myself. Sharing what I find could be useful so there will be more posts this week.
