There aren't going to be very many changes on my blog for 2018 but it's always fun to look at what is coming up...
REGULAR POSTS:
1) Around The Blogs With Chuckles
This was the surprise success of 2017 and I've had a lot of positive feedback about it. I hope to be featuring more posts each week if I can find more blogs to follow with varied content!
2) Chuckles Cover Love
I always like an excuse to look at pretty book covers so this will continue.
3) Chuckles Goes Sampling
I intend to be relying heavily on reading books samples for pretty much everything before I buy, in order to cut purchases and save money. It was a big help in 2017 so I'm expanding it. For those who asked, I don't rate and review the samples elsewhere.
4) Top Ten Tuesday
It's always fun to take part in this and see what everyone puts on their list. It's now under new management and a lot of the upcoming topics for the coming months are there which makes planning a lot easier.
5) Can't Wait Wednesday
This is the only resource I have to browse ahead and find upcoming releases. It's fun to see what everyone else is waiting on too.
6) Chuckles Chat
I'll be continuing with my discussion posts through the year on book and entertainment topics.
7) Game of Thrones Gossip
My discussion posts are in season three now and will continue.
8) Chuckles Weekend Roundup
This will be posted every Saturday as normal.
CHALLENGE UPDATES:
The plan is to update progress on each book challenge I'm doing on a monthly basis as that will remind me that I'm doing them! Last year I forgot about my challenges for the most part but this year I intend to achieve! I'll update my Goodreads Reading Challenge and TBR Reduction/Addition on my Saturday post.
FILM REVIEWS/OTHER STUFF:
Last year was a bust for watching films and TV series so I need to make more effort this year. I'll also be doing any interesting book tags that come along.
NEW TO THE BLOG:
1) Prepping With Chuckles
Anyone who follows my blog knows that I love prepper apocalypse fiction and I've become interested in the concept of prepping. I'll be posting about a range of things like preparing for bad weather/natural disasters, food storage, water collection, gardening, emergencies, home medicine and lots of interesting stuff!

Good luck with your blog this year!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Thanks AJ!
DeleteGood luck! I should really start doing Waiting on Wednesday as well! I didn't watch a lot of movies either last year, but tonight I'm going to see the new Star Wars, to start of the year on a good movie note :)
ReplyDeleteI have so many films waiting to be watched and I really need to get looking at them but I've just rediscovered the motivation to read and don't want to stop!
DeleteGlad to see you'll still be doing Game of Thrones stuff! Also the prepping posts sound awesome. I always like to see what other bloggers think of movies too.
ReplyDeleteI should have enough posts to see us through the year I think! I still can't believe we need to wait until 2019 for the last series and I won't even talk about The Winds of Winter!
DeleteHow do you manage it all? The mind boggles. But I'm just glad you do :) I hadn't realized TTT was under new management. I'll have to check it out. I'm very unreliable with the meme's but I like that one when I remember to do it.
ReplyDeleteI have the advantages of no children and not working! Otherwise I'd never fit everything in!
DeleteWow, the prepping feature sounds great. As we're in the middle of a deep freeze, any cold weather prepping might be helpful :)
ReplyDeleteI hope to get it up tomorrow...it's written but needs to be tweaked a bit until I'm happy with it...those US storms are pretty shocking. We never get weather that bad here for which I'm grateful.
DeleteLooking forward to your Prepping with Chuckles posts! I love all that survival stuff. :D
ReplyDeleteI got right into it by reading lots of apocalypse books about EMPS and solar flares and nuclear wars! I'm such a cheerful Chuckles!
DeleteSo glad you are continuing with your features. And I'm curious about your new one. I do some prepping, mainly for hurricanes. But I do have a small zombie apocalypse kit too. LOL Seriously!
ReplyDeleteI will admit that though I don't have a zombie plan as such, I do have a book for first aid and surgery in the zombie apocalypse...
DeleteI am so happy to see that all my fav features like "Around the Blogs" will continue but I can tell that "Prepping With Chuckles" may become THE ONE since I love all that survival and prepping stuff. I even have a prepping section on Our Familiarium called "bunkerized chicken coop" LOL Can't wait for this feature Chuckles!
ReplyDeleteI thought you might like this one! The first post is just talking about different kinds of preppers but after that the fun begins!
DeleteOoh, Top Ten Tuesday is under new management? I should take a look.
ReplyDeleteOne of the bloggers from the group that run it has taken it on themselves-topics are posted for months ahead which is helpful for planning!
DeleteLooking forward to all of your regular posts this year!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole!
