I review everything I read, on my blog and on Goodreads. Most reviews are of a decent length but sometimes you don't have much to say about the book because of its length or you DNFed it or various other reasons. In cases like that it makes sense to write a few mini reviews in one post and clear them out your way! So lets catch up with some reviews from February! These books are all for the Puppy Love Challenge!
1) Alex Graham-Fred Basset 2017
Fred finds he has an actual compulsion to steal sausages and is in a constant battle to protect his bones. Hanging out with beauties like Jemma and Fifi are fun, as is playing with the Tucker Twins and lounging around his home waiting to be fed with Doggybix!
2) Alex Graham-Fred Basset 2014Ah the troubles of buttered bread sticking to your fur, your friend's revolting haggis dinner, being rescued by neighbours from a vicious dog, never quite catching the bunnies and cats and being a total sausage addict. Luckily there is fun to be had with your faithful four legged friends and being looked after by two loving humans!
3) Alex Graham-Fred Basset 2016 What more could a dog want? A warm fire, a soft rabbit toy, bone hunting with your friends, regular walks, the fun of misbehaving at dog shows and digging up every part of your human's beautiful garden! Watch out for the mean Grosvenor Avenue gang, a visit to the vet and that camping trip still to come!

4) Alex Graham-Fred Basset 2005
Fred enjoys the simple things in life like making a constant mess of the vegetable garden, avoiding walks in howling gales, being peacemaker in the house, trying and failing to learn food stealing restraint, chasing cats and hanging out with his human and dog friends.

These look and sound adorable!
ReplyDeleteFred is a funny guy and more intelligence than his humans have!
DeleteI'm glad the reading challenge is going well! Must confess that I've never heard of the Fred Basset comic strips...
ReplyDeleteThe reading challenge is a bit misleading as a lot of these are Fred Basset books which are twenty minute reads. Fred appears every day in the Daily Mail and I've been buying his books since I was a kid!
