Stacking the Shelves #31

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

This week I have hardly had a minute to myself to get anything done online or even read a book. The week was filled with hospital appointments, shopping trips, house cleaning and other chores that needed doing. Last night I finally got to relax and read while watching the golf! This week I plan to concentrate on all the Goodreads groups I'm in, getting more reviews onto the blog and catching up on some fun stuff like Pinterest if time allows. I did of course find the time to order one more set of books before my free trial of Amazon Prime ran out!

I am frustrated that I cannot get a copy of JK Walker's first book in the Salt Lake After Dark series on paperback from Amazon UK yet it seems to be available in the US! Come on guys, I have had to take a risk on buying books 2 and 3 from you in case they disappear but you need to give me book 1 so I can start reading, hopefully with that original cover! WANT! *stamps foot*

NB Please not that HALO was previously published as Raksha.

  1. Nice haul this week, I'm so sorry yo hear how chaotic it's been, fingers crossed that next week is far less stressful. I'm a big fan of the Brightest Kind of Darkness series too, so might snap up a copy of Ethan as well. There are some awesome titles on Netgalley this week, you should definitely check them out :)

    1. I don't get much from Netgalley coz I'm a new member with a small blog following. Only two publishers are happy to send me stuff so options are limited! Maybe it's a good thing or I'd be swamped with books! I'm really keen to get stuck into some of these tbrs...

  7. I find that buying books from Book Depository is better and they ship worldwide free no matter how much or little you buy. I buy all my US hardbacks from there. Although they can be a little slow! I checked for you but that book isn't available there either, ergh. :(

    1. I can tell it is going to be a pain to get this book! It is available for Kindle but it's a pain not having it on paperback. Maybe if I wait, Amazon UK might get copies back in...

  8. Nice haul. These are all new to me this week. I absolutely hate when the first book in a series seems to be unavailable EVERYWHERE, but the others are all available. I really hope you can get your hands on book one soon.

    1. I get this a lot especially with self published books. I only started hunting down indies in 2013 so some of these books were published a few years before that and can be a pain to get hold of!
