Stacking the Shelves #39

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

A quieter and less manic week thankfully! My mum gets out of hospital at last in a few days which is a relief to us. Being able to look after her at home will be easier than all the hospital visits, that's for sure. I still haven't got my energy back to start reading again but I hope it will be soon! A quiet week on the buying front as well which is not a bad thing!

    1. The Dracula one is a bit different from my usual UF reads but I was intrigued by it even though I'm not a crime novel kinda person...

    1. I'm hoping having her home and being away from the hospital visits will give me more energy to read! That's the hope anyway. She's looking much brighter than when she went in so that is good.

  6. Gosh, your mum has had a bad run hasn't she. So glad to hear she's coming home, she'll be much more relaxed and able to get some much needed rest too.

There's no way I could buy a copy of Fear of Light, that cover is terrifying! It's close to one of the creepiest ones I've seen. Can't wait to see if it lives up to its cover presence though. Enjoy your new lovelies.

    1. She has REALLY been suffering in that hospital during this heatwave we're happening. She's been a bit sick this weekend so I hope it doesn't delay her getting out.

  9. Ugh, I always have so much trouble commenting here, I don't know why. (I know comments don't appear until you approve them, but the captcha never seems to work right for me either, and this time blogspot was playing up! Ah well.) Your new books look fun, I hope you enjoy them. Good to hear your mum gets to come home now -- best wishes to her.
