If there is one thing that makes a great book even better, it is when it has a cover that we love! The cover design is what catches the eye as we browse through a bookstore shelf or check out the Amazon or Goodreads recommendations. The right cover makes me look closer at a book, to read the blurb and maybe make a purchase. A poor cover might mean I never look at the blurb at all.

This Week! Covers I love with green on them.

I think the Rabbit And The Raven cover is my favourite, and The Hades Contract one is fun, especially with how it links to Godhead with the laurel wreath
ReplyDeleteThe trilogy by Ousley was very enjoyable and I'm not a YA fantasy kind of person! The two Godhead books were good-Greek mythology with urban fantasy, diversity and demons!
DeleteI love the green in those covers.
ReplyDeleteGreen is a great colour for covers!
DeleteThey're all wonderful green covers, but I especially like Adrift.
ReplyDeleteSo many great looking covers for books I haven't read!
DeleteI think I like the cover of Splintered best, though Haunted is a close second. Hope you had a good weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteSplintered and the rest of that series are all great covers!
DeleteI love those editions of the Armstrong series. The US ones were so boring. I adore green and I see some books here I want to check out.
ReplyDeleteI loved that Kelley Armstrong set but around book 10 they changed to the bigger sized paperbacks with dull covers!
DeleteI think all the Splintered covers, and all Howard's covers for that matter, are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The cover art is awesome!
DeleteI love green covers! Mt faves here are adrift and Kiss o death.
ReplyDeleteGreen is a great colour to use on covers!
Deletelook at all those beauties. splintered has always caught my eye
ReplyDeleteThe Splintered series has some of the best covers I've seen!
DeleteI'll never get over my anger of them putting that True Blood show sticker thingy on those covers lol
ReplyDeleteThey are so original and I had all the books until that happened.

I really hate those advertising things on book covers too. They spoil the appearance of the books. I love those cartoon covers though!
DeleteThose look so beautiful all on one page! I have a couple in my tbr pile and hope I get to read them someday.
ReplyDeleteGreen is usually a good colour on covers!
DeleteWow the Iron King. I think I might have this series. I have a lot of series I plan to read and haven't' gotten there yet. This of course is a same for me and the author.
ReplyDeleteMary
The Iron King and the other books in the series all had great covers!
