Books From The Backlog-Arisen

Books from the Backlog is a fun way to feature some of those neglected books sitting on your bookshelf.  You might be surprised by some of the unread books hiding in your stacks. Go to Carole's blog and add your blog post link in to join in the fun! Hosted by Carole at https://carolesrandomlife.blogspot.co.uk/

This seems like a fun feature and I have been planning to take part since Carole launched this so at last, here we go! I have a TON of unread books to choose from in various genres and I'm looking forward to sharing some of them with everybody.

Those of you who follow my blog will have heard me rave about this wonderful zombie apocalypse series which follows military and civilian groups in the UK and America, along with missions in Africa, Asia, The Middle East and mainland Europe. I love this series so much! Now I have the final three books in the series to read and a companion novel about a side mission to read. I've been putting it off because I don't want the series to be over! I was cheered up to hear at least two more companion novels are coming out so I need to get fully up to date before they come out!

If you like zombies and great characters, action scenes and bits of humour, then I would hope you would love this series!

  1. I'm impressed at your stamina in sticking with such a long series! Do you need to get the last three books read before the new companion ones are published?

    1. I suppose I don't really need to as the companion novels are from earlier in the series but I just kind of want to get them read and see what happens. The other part of me is reluctant as that means I'm done with the main series y'know?

    1. It just had everything I want in a zombie book! The missions were different and exciting, millions of zombies and scary attacks, deaths, disaster, evil Russians, a terrorist who is the comic relief and great characters to cheer on!
