Ghost Boyfriend-Who is your eternal ghost boyfriend?
I don't do normal book boyfriends so a ghost version seems kind of dumb to me. Instead I'm naming a book character I'd like to hang out with. If Tyrion Lannister lived in our world and read books on history, politics, modern novels AND had Westeros stories, then I'd love to hang out in the pub with him and chat!

Vampires In Everything-What is your least favourite Halloween trope?
I like vampires but decent plots seem to the same thing appearing-the male or female vampire, seduces, kidnaps, enslaves unwilling human and love follows soon after. It's just a bit boring to waste vampires as sexy and lovelorn and a bit pathetic! Vampires should be like in this book!

There are a lot of good bad guys and girls in books so it's difficult but I'm going with Pennywise from IT. It kills children and adults, corrupts an entire town, and changes into any monster or creature that you fear to really scare you. They all float...

Ouija Board-A book that messes with things you don't want to be involved in.
I've read all kinds of gory and depraved books with varying kinds of torture but none of it generally bothers me. However, the use of toilet functions as torture/sexual activity makes me feel physically sick and I can't go near that or humans having sex with animals. This book had all of that. I did finish it because it was funny in places but I couldn't go near that kind of content again.

All Hallows Eve-The other world and this world have meshed up for one night, what book would you love to be swept up in?
For just one day I would want to find myself in Diagon Alley so I could look at all those amazing shops and then take a trip up to Hogsmeade and see the shops and Hogwarts itself!I'd buy Quidditch robes to lounge about my house in, a ton of sweets, books of course and I could combine my one day there with a week in London to do some sightseeing and shopping!

Voodoo Doll-What author would you like to take control of and make them write whatever you want?
George RR Martin! Get these last two books done NOW with no further distractions or messing about! Don't kill all my favourite characters! I'd make him give Jaime and Brienne a HEA, have Jaime kill Cersei, Jon reigns in an independent North as King with Davos by his side, Sansa rules in Dorne out of my sight while Tyrion and Varys rule the rest of Westeros, Ned is a Faceless Man...yeah I have plans!

Black Cat-What red flags do you look for when you are starting a book?
When I start a book, I'm looking to be sucked into the plot straight away amd I want to be liking the characters from the start. If I get annoyed with the characters as soon as I meet them ie whiny, arrogant, TSTL then I know I'll lose patience at some point and DNF. If the first chapter has the pointless kind of swearing for the sake of it in every line I'll lose interest ie one book had 30 different swear words in three paragraphs and I don't want to read about clearing the effing table and going to the mfing shops! I also look out for the signs of impending love triangles that don't appear in the book blurb!

Witches Brew-A book that had a lot of different components thrown in but the result was magical.
This series had a lot of different things going on-Celtic, Greek, Roman, Indian, Native American and Norse mythology to start with. Vampires, werewolves, Yetis and witches. Druids and Gods and Goddesses. Action packed fights and humour. Dogs that can communicate with their owners. Magic of various kinds. Travel to different countries. I loved it!
