Halloween Horrorfest!


It's that time of year that I love! The cooler weather and the darker nights, curled up in The Book Cave with horror books and watching horror films! This month I've selected a lovely pile of 35 horror books that I really want to read, fitting into categories again. I want to get caught up with a few horror series that I have started, hence the Series Catchup section. I'll be watching lots of films (I hope!) so I can finally do some film reviews!

  1. It's weird, I used to love reading horror but I've moved away from it. Well, mostly. I still love a good suspense mystery just haven't read straight horror in a bit.

    1. I'm the other way round...I used to read a lot of mystery and thrillers and then got tired of them but I'm coming back to it slowly!

  2. I hope you enjoy The Purge movies. I think they're okay. I'm not a huge fan of the Saw movies but always found the Jeepers Creepers ones to be pretty good.

    1. Give me the gore and I'm happy! I like the sound of the Purge films and need to catch up with Saw...The first two Jeepers Creepers were great and I've waited years for the third one!

  7. Most of these scary movies I've only seen the first or second movies. Like, I can't believe there are now 7 Saw films. Or even 5 Final Destination movies.
