    2. And what is ironic is that when I went to comment on that post, it had capcha enabled and comment moderation and my comment hasn't been approved yet.

      All things that are good for catching spammers. But not so good when the author of the post has gone on and on about making ones blog open, accessible and easy for followers to interact with.

    3. I use moderation purely to get rid of the spammers and really offensive crap but every other opinion is allowed through. I hate that Capcha stuff, having to do math riddles and stuff every time I comment! It does seem ironic to complain about open blogs and then have that set up!
