Netflix Book Tag

I saw this tag at Barb's blog http://bookertsfarm.blogspot.com/ so I thought I'd give it a go. It was created by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVrydXU4okw at YouTube. If you want to take part, consider yourself tagged and you don't need to have Netflix to do the tag, as I don't use it either!

1) Recently Watched-The Last Book You Finished Reading
At the time of writing this, the last book I'd finished was Fathomless, a deep sea thriller will conspiracy, good and bad Russians and a giant megalodon!

2) Top Picks-A book recommended to you based on a book you previously read.
Based on my recent review of Dream Woods, Karen at http://www.fwiwreviews.net/ told me about an 80's slasher plot set in an abandoned water park and I intend to grab this!

3) Recently Added-The Last Book You Bought
As I construct this, the last book I bought was Screams You Hear.

4) Popular on Netflix-Books Everyone Knows About (1 you've read and 1 you won't read).
I read The Murderbot Diaries, which I loved, but won't be reading Dread Nation. I had wanted to read it until friends reviewing it commented on the lack of zombie action and it lacking horror. I'm not a fan of reading about racism or horrible characters so with zombies lacking, I changed my mind on reading this one.

5) Comedies-A Funny Book.
I love the cartoon adventures of Beau Peep! Daft British humour at its finest!

6) Dramas-A Character Who Is A Drama Queen/King.
I DNF a lot of books with this kind of character but Luisa drove me mad in this one with her attention seeking stupidity and then her selfish behaviour.

7) Animated-A Book With Cartoons On The Cover.
I needed to showcase these gorgeous zombie covers!

8) Watch It Again-A Book Or Series You Want To Reread.
Pretty much my whole paperback collection? Here are three I really want to get back to!

9) Documentaries-A Non Fiction Book You'd Recommend To Everyone.
I've never recommended any one book to everyone but a wide range of people loved this.

10) Action And Adventure-An Action Packed Book.
I loved the non stop tension and drama in this one.

11) New Releases-A Book That Just Came Out Or Is Coming Out Soon That You Can't Wait To Read.
I love the cover for this book and I'm interested in the plot. Several advanced reviews say the book is much better than the blurb suggests so I'm sold!

Chuclkles I ADORE ADORE ADORE your background! Especially the Dia de los muertos image YAY is this just for Creeptober or you plan to keep it for good?
I love the title "Screams You Hear" and even though it was my most anticipated release of 2018 and the only book I have ever preorder in my life, for some reason I also lost interest in Dread Nation! I haven't read it yet!

    1. Thanks! I've always liked the pic since I saw it on Pixabay and I think I'm going to keep it as my background for good. I love the colour and the horror vibe! I'm looking forward to Screams You Hear as it just sounds really good.

Sorry I can't follow you back or comment on your blog as your user name is coming up on the blog as unknown with no link to a blog!

    3. *waves* That's weird that it came up as unknown! I thought it sounded a bit like you but couldn't think why it wasn't showing your details but I didn't want to ask if it was you in case it wasn't!

  2. Cool tag! I don’t have Netflix, but I have read some of these books. I read Into Thin Air in high school and should probably reread it. I don’t think I appreciated it at the time. The Hunger Games is another one that I want to reread eventually.

    1. If I had added stuff like Netflix my book budget would have to be cut and I can't have that!

  4. I enjoy the Murderbot Diaries and have Dread Nation but not sure when I'll read it.

I've had Netflix for years but have just recently started actually using it lol I basically gave myself a use it or lose it ultimatum.

    1. Love Murderbot! I can't wait to read the fourth one and see what the author does with the full novels! I've never been tempted by Netflix-the extra cost mainly but I also had a ton of dvds already waiting to get watched!

  5. Fun tag! I have Netflix but I don't watch it. My husband and daughter do though. I love re-reading books and have been through The Hunger Games at least twice (maybe more). I think that I read Into Thin Air a long time ago but I am not positive.

  8. I have read and seen The Hunger Games a while ago. I liked them both of course. I Loved IT and read that one in HS. OMG, that was so long ago. Definitely time for a re-read. I do have netflix but rarely get to watch it anymore. I do like this tag tho.

    1. It was a fun tag to do. I'd love to reread some of my old favourites. Maybe I need to let myself have a couple of rereads each month!
