Chuckles 2017 Series Read Challenge

Every year I promise to catch up on the book series that have been sitting on my shelves brooding for years. Last year I did actually manage to deal with a few which is better than I've done in the last four years combined! This was the list I wanted to get to in 2017 and my progress.

PRIORITY:
These are the series that I HAD to get caught up with in 2017!

1) Rachel Caine-The Morganville Vampires
status-read book 1 but need to reread it and whole series. 16 books! Gulp!
end status-completed!!!

2) Michael Stephen Fuchs-Arisen
status-read 1-4, need to read 5-12 and two prequel novels.
end status-still to read books 12, 13, 14

3) Darrell Maloney-Countdown to Armageddon
status-read book 1 but will reread it and the other 7.
end status-none read

4) Jennifer Estep-Elemental Assassin series
status-read book 1 and I'm terrified by how many books are coming out in this series!
end status-none read

5) Carrie Vaughn-Kitty Norville
status-read book 1, re-read this and finish series. 14? Something like that.
end status-none read

6) Rob Thurman-Cal Leandros series
status-read all 10 out so far and short stories.
end status-none read

OK this challenge was an epic fail! I did manage to read The Morganville Vampires but it took the entire year to do so!!! I didn't even get started on the other series which is disappointing. I need to try again next year.

  1. I wouldn't consider it a fail. Look what you were able to get done. And heck, that Kitty Norville and the Estep series are huge! As long as you are enjoying what you are reading, then I say you win! And the boys agree so it must be true!

    1. I think I kind of forgot to check up on a few of these challenges through the year so I need to be berrer organised this time! I am a bit scared of these big series! I know you're right-good books are more important than stats!

  2. I was determined to finish the Shades of Magic trilogy this year. I’m reading the last one now. I’m hoping to finish it by the end of the year, but it’s a big book.

    1. Too many series, that's my problem and I keep adding new ones to the list!

  3. It's hard to keep up on series. Especially when the author keeps writing new books! I have several series that I'm behind in, too. :D
