Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about
sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical
or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store
or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books,
gifts and of course ebooks!
Well this was a better week! On Monday my mum got out of hospital looking a lot better after the infections and low mineral levels. On Tuesday her oncologist said that the stomach tumours are shrinking which is good news though he couldn't tell if there was any difference in the liver yet. She is getting a four week rest to let her body recover before the next three chemo sessions. We're happy with progress and enjoying not having to sit in that stifling hot hospital ward for hours each day! Thanks everyone, for your good wishes and kind comments recently!
So I'm pretty much fully rested and back on track with my reading which is great! Just a small haul this week which has allowed me to vastly reduce my tbrs, digital and physical.

Oops! Somehow forgot to add the ten book set that I got for under £2 on Amazon this week! Added it now!
ReplyDeleteI heard about Five but haven't read it, you had some new books to me but I hope you'll like them. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI liked the cover and blurb of this one-cover to book two is really cool!
DeleteI desperately need the dystopian set too, heard about it from David Estes. I love dystopians and this is perfect for my winter reading, can't wait to see what you think of it <3 Thanks for reminding me, enjoy your new reads.
ReplyDeleteThree of the books in the set were on my wishlist so I thought 'bargain!' and jumped at the chance! I just hope a few live up to expectations...
DeleteNot heard of these before but I hope you like them. :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully I'll get some of them read soon...I'm gradually wrestling my tbr back under some kind of control!
DeleteOh, all the best with your mother's health. :(( I was tempted by that boxset, but just didn't end up nabbing it. ;) Happy reading! My StS!
ReplyDeleteThe box set is worth grabbing for The Moon Dwellers by David Estes. I gave that bad boy a 5 star review...
DeleteI haven't heard of these, but I do hope that you enjoy them :) thanks for stopping by My Haul!
ReplyDeleteMost of my new buys seem to be self published or published by small companies! As long as they are good stories, I'm happy...
DeleteThe dystopian set looks so good :-) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI normally don't buy ebooks over £1 but I figured getting 10 books for £1.85 was acceptable, just this once!
DeleteYou got a lot of books that look good. I have Five, but haven't read it yet.
ReplyDeleteGrace
That's the problem when we have so many great sounding books-what to read next and when we'll get round to reading each new buy...
DeleteThat set looks awesome! Hope you like all of your new books! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt does, doesn't it! The only one I've read is The Moon Dwellers and I loved it. Even if I only like one or two of the other books, it's still a bargain!
DeleteI like the Five cover, I have to go check it out. Enjoy your new books this week!

ReplyDeleteIt was a good haul last week. It's now Wednesday and I haven't got ANYTHING this week...*panics*
DeleteI'm glad to hear that your mom is doing better <3 I haven't heard of any of these books, but Glacial Eyes sounds good. Enjoy and take it easy My STS
ReplyDeleteThere's a free short story with the characters from Glacial Eyes. It's called Frat House of the Dead. Reading that persuaded me to try the series!
