Alex Verus is tracking down dangerous magical items unleashed into the world by Dark Mages - however, when the Light Council decide they need his help in negotiating with the perpetrators, Alex must use all his cunning and magic to strike a deal.
This is book 9 in the series and it comes out any time now so not much longer to wait!
Oh this cover is awesome! This is another series I have to go back to -- SIGHS.
ReplyDeleteI've still only read the first one but I loved it! I might tackle this once I read the Kitty Norville series. Maybe!
DeleteI always want to start a long series, but then I get intimidated by how many books there are, lol. I feel like I'll never be able to catch up!

I felt like that when I was starting The Morganville Vampires series last year! 15 books plus anthology! There are quite a few series that look never ending like Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassin-I've only read book one!
DeleteThis sounds good and the cover is gorgeous! I might check the series out!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed book one and need to get caught up!
DeleteOoh this sounds good. I'm not familiar with this series but I like the sound of it! The cover almost reminds me of the Aaronovitch books, with the London map. I like it!
ReplyDeleteThe design of the first books in the series were gorgeous-I'm not as keen on these later book covers but as long as the series is good I won't complain too much!
DeleteI'm excited! Of course, I still need to read numbers 5, 6, 7, and 8 first. ;D
ReplyDeleteI'm way behind you-I've only read the first one!
DeleteI love this cover! This sounds like a really interesting series. I hope you love it, Chuckles :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I think of how many series I need to catch up with I feel sick! I might do a post about it!
DeleteWhat a spectacular cover. Not heard of this series before and always happy when I find a new one.
ReplyDeleteI actually preferred the old design but of course they changed it several books ago which really annoyed me! I'm always raving about this series so I need to get caught up!
DeleteI've always wanted to check out this series! The covers are so gorgeous, too.

The first book was certainly really good! I hope the series keeps up the standard!
DeleteThe book is probably not for me but that cover is gorgeous! Fantasy type novels always have the best covers. I really should read more from the genre.
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of these urban fantasy series that need to be read. I must make more effort on that!
