Stacking the Shelves #74

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Click on the link under the book to find its page on Goodreads or Smashwords.

Please note that I always leave a message on your STS/SP if you visit me, but if you use DISQUS or a similar third party I will not be able to leave a comment on your page. And sometimes, I have problems leaving messages on blogs hosted by Wordpress so you might get a double message sometimes! Blame them, not me!

This week was a terrible splurge on paperbacks but I'm saving them for next week's STS as I have imposed a book ban on myself. This is the last of the backlog of downloads from the last few weeks and that is more than enough to post for now! The Contamination series is not numbered correctly on Goodreads so go by the series number on the book cover to get the right order. I've read the prequel to this series which explains how it all began it's a good read. Phoenix in my Fortune is the last in the Monster Haven series *SOB* so I hope we get a good ending! I had Ravage on my Kindle before but it got deleted and now I've changed my mind againand it's back! I picked up a couple of zombies and apocalypse box sets for 99p each so I look forward to trying some new authors!

    1. Yes the book gets a good write up and I hope I like it. I might need another horror month during the summer to get this lot read-I can't wait until October for Spooky Booky Month!

    1. I was very bad...the rest will feature next Saturday! It's going to make hitting my 500 tbr target by the end of the month VERY difficult! Perhaps impossible now...

  8. Wow, massive haul this week. I'm not usually a fan of serialized stories, but I do like picking them up in a nice omnibus edition that allows me to devour the whole story at once.

    1. Yeah I feel the same-unless I get them free which doesn't happen a lot! I'm reading Zombie University just now and it won't win any prizes for literature! It's pretty dumb but ok to pass the day.

  9. I have The Girl with All the Gifts too. Might have to try and get to it in April or May. I have had it for a while.

  12. The covers on the Contamination books are so.. they almost tell a story in one picture. I let covers guide me and now - I have to check these out. My TBR pile just got bigger I think... *unconvincing scowl sent in your direction* ;)

    1. Start with the prequel St Matthew's...that tells you how the contamination began and it's the only one I've read so far.
